Default Splitting Broadband connection...

By doing this.. would i be able to use it to get a TV signal in the back of a eurovox or dbox?

Would the signal be weal, or would my 20meg broadband be reduced?

Thank you for any help.

If your Broadband is via "Cable" and not via BT line, then yes, you can split the feed to a Eurovox.. (assuming you must be on Cable as I dont think 20Mb is available via a BT line yet) And no, it won't slow your Broadband down..

Yep i am with Virgin media.. I already have a line split downstairs.

But the intenet line is upstairs and close to the TV in my room.. so if i just buy a splitter and some wire, it should be okay?

The broadband definitely wont be slower?..

Basic Eurovox about 85 quid, a HD Eurovox about 185 quid .. There's only one HD channel with Virgin at the moment..

I've got a 24mb connection and get 22mb down and 2mb up on a BT line

Its called ADSL2+

I don't get huge drops in speed either like i used to on Vermin Media 20mb when school finishes and all the kids go onto the net

Net speeds will not drop when using a splitter, although they will when you hit your down or up limit.
